To travel is my greatest passion and I am fortunate that I’ve got to travel to some places that I like. I travel once or twice in a year, I know that’s quite a bit small in number but for a full-time expat working lady like me, I should be even more thankful that I’ve got to travel to places on my bucket list. With its rich historical monuments, colonial architecture, beaches, and restaurants, most of the travelers are considering Colombo as their first destination before heading to their target provinces.
After our check-out to Suriya Luxury Resort, we headed out immediately to Colombo to meet the gang. Of course, with excitement and hunger of curiosity what to see in Colombo, we took some snaps along our way while riding our private car. It took us an hour to reach the City of Colombo from the hotel. Continue reading “MINISTRY OF CRAB AND PETTAH STREET | HALF-DAY TOUR AT COLOMBO, SRI LANKA”
Amidst of the beautiful hotels in Negombo, I worked myself so hard to find a perfect hotel that will perfectly suit my taste as well as Mr. Lucky. I religiously checked every hotel’s website in Negombo to see what they can offer with regards to the amenities and food. Of course, should I say that it has to be with a private beach? Yes it is, and a huge pool. Continue reading “SURIYA LUXURY RESORT | A SERENE GETAWAY IN SRI LANKA”
Warning: Contains Sarcasm
Early morning in the office scene a couple of weeks ago, while doing some paper-works in the HR battlefield, a friend popped out in a Facebook group messenger saying, “Guys, let’s go to Sri Lanka! We have tickets already, book yours now!”
I tried to calm myself. Continue reading “REASONS WHY YOU SHOULD NOT VISIT SRI LANKA “
Palawan is a beautiful place, no one will ever disagree with that.
Truth be told, the Philippines itself is a majestic and beautiful place. It is one of the top country most visited in the Asian region. Talk about white beaches, untouched beauty of mountains, the hospitality of people and its rich culture, no wonder why tourists keep on coming back to this. My home, my beloved country, Philippines.
Entering the Embassy of South Korea, the guard just welcome us with a smile on his face knowing that we will apply for tourist visa, and followed it with a response, “Oh! someone just got rejected today.”
The memories are still clear when I first laid my eyes on Souq Waqif for the first time. It was a feeling that made me realize, Ahhhhh this is Qatar!
Even so, I couldn’t seem to count how many times I have visited this place. It has been a part of my journey from the very beginning. It makes me travel back in time where Qatar was still a small fishing village back on its own history. Walking on its corridors while crossing different types of strangers and seeing arrays of merchandise presented in every store is a fusion of modern and traditional kick.
I will definitely bring you with me as I journey myself again to this beautiful maze and historic Souq Waqif. Let’s go? Continue reading “TALE AS OLD AS TIME | SOUQ WAQIF”
Truthfully speaking, El Nido has highlighted its beautiful beaches and lagoons not just in the Philippines but also to the whole world. It has become one of the top tourists destination for all types of travelers.
Striked with its beauty, I have truly left my heart in it.
It’s always best to see something in person rather than to see on their instagram feeds drooling over the photos captured in El Nido Palawan – a scenic paradise. Continue reading “WHAT NO ONE TELLS YOU ABOUT EL NIDO PALAWAN, PHILIPPINES”
After almost 2 years of being an expat I can now say that I had tried one of the “most-suggested-adventure” to try here in Middle East, and that is Sand Dunes.
As you know, and as everyone knows dessert is the main spot here in Middle East. That’s seems to be obvious anyway! Hehe
This adventure is also part of my last Eid Adventure this past week. And this is the last leg of my Eid Al Adha 2016 Advenutre and just bear with me because I am still elated. Continue reading “Legit Expat: Now on Move”
