TALE AS OLD AS TIME | SOUQ WAQIF

The memories are still clear when I first laid my eyes on Souq Waqif for the first time. It was a feeling that made me realize, Ahhhhh this is Qatar!

Even so, I couldn’t seem to count how many times I have visited this place. It has been a part of my journey from the very beginning. It makes me travel back in time where Qatar was still a small fishing village back on its own history. Walking on its corridors while crossing different types of strangers and seeing arrays of merchandise presented in every store is a fusion of modern and traditional kick.

I will definitely bring you with me as I journey myself again to this beautiful maze and historic Souq Waqif. Let’s go? Continue reading “TALE AS OLD AS TIME | SOUQ WAQIF”

This adventure is also part of my last Eid Adventure this past week. And this is the last leg of my Eid Al Adha 2016 Advenutre and just bear with me because I am still elated. Continue reading “Legit Expat: Now on Move”

Well hey! Qatar is surrounded by good beaches also. That’s the one thing I truly love in this place, the smell of the sea salt water and the wind breeze when I got the chance to pass by Corniche area. Annnnd yes, I am a self-proclaimed beach lover.

EID AL ADHA 2016 Vacation (Wakra Beach)

Helooo there!

Eid Mubarak!

It’s basically holiday here in Middle East because it’s the second of the two special holidays for Muslims.  So holiday means no work day – vacation! It is usually a three-day-non-working-day for the most, but fortunately mine was a total of seven days including Friday and Saturday which is a regular day-off in our office.

Most of the expats leave the country for vacation to other country or some may prefer to visit their home countries. Hello! That’s quite a long vacation so you might want to spend those days with something special.
