I am on a strict avoidance to seafood particularly on shell fishes due to skin allergies but I do take antihistamine specially when I crave and only for an exemption like this.

Specifically, eating seafood for me must be scheduled, meaning I have to take first my medicine about 2-3 hours prior to devouring on the juicy shrimps and fresh lobster or else I’ll be suffering with itchiness at night. Nevertheless, my love for seafood is against all odds.

If there’s a will, there’s a way!

Occasionally, we go on a lunch out with family to experience something out of the ussual as we normally cook home meals during Friday lunch and spend it with a nice tv series marathon. But, since it was my birthday special, I personally picked this seafood restaurant to give myself a treat with my family.

There’s no denying, the interiors are simple yet family friendly. They have a large seating capacity for big families and with perfect natural source of lighting too,  best for Instagrammers like myself. I am a fan of wall frames so I took opportunity for this sake!

Serving your dishes on flame might be a no-no to you if you have kids on tow but trust me, this is completely friendly environment. Might as well, kids may enjoy seeing fire shows while preparing your meal right in front of your eyes. Don’t worry. It’s all safe.

I am impressed with the food portion quantity, mind the fact that I brought with me my husband and my father-in-law who are both heavy eaters.

I am also delighted with their seafood pasta in different variations. They had pleased my senses with my both favorites, pasta and seafood! You may try this red pasta, Spaghetti in the Sea with a close taste to your mum’s cooked spaghetti if you are a Filipino.

And of course, served in freshly flamed, “Manhattan Flaming Prawns” must be on your list if you want to experience fresh and juicy shrimps!

Above all, I didn’t regret consuming these seafoods as I have enjoyed it very much. This wast my 2nd try on this restaurant and it has not failed me over the course of my visit. It’s best time to visit is between 12PM to 3PM if you do not want a crowded environment.

I also made use of my Entertainer vouchers to save half almost the price! The total bill is 203 QR including 6 main menus and 3 soft beverages.

FOOD: 4.7/5

Slipper lobster in curry is my top pick among the rest. Fresh seafoods indeed.

Neat and clean, with accent of wooden kitchenwares. Serving is generous too!

Easy access but with limited parking specially during peak hours.

STAFF: 5/5

Friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable about their menus.

Told yaah, they have a nice natural source of lighting!

  3. OMG! I’ve been here and been planning to blog about it, but until now I haven’t. If the pictures I’ve taken were food, they’re probably rotting right now. Hahahah! I haven’t tried their Spaghetti in the Sea yet, only their Creamy Salmon Penn which I find real tasty, might try that Spaghetti now on my next visit. _<
