Weekend are the best days of the week.
Aside from the fact that we can splurge long time on our comfortable hay and spend time with our family and do all the partying – this is also a great time to allocate with our friends.
I see, I know that most of us have been partying all weekends and doing some extra activities all round the clock, but have you consider a feel at ease atmosphere with a budget friendly dining experience?
I was invited to try out the menu at Carisma Restaurant at Warwick Hotel. It was my first time to be honest to visit the hotel and although I have been seeing the grandiose exterior architectural design of its building when passing by the sports round about , it is no way that I shouldn’t be visiting this hotel some time. Finally I had the opportunity to catch this elegant environment.
I have to wait for a couple of minutes at the lobby area since other bloggers were not yet present due to traffic at that time. As soon as sited, a courteous staff offered me something to drink and hand me readily the wifi password. I guess she knows that I have to wait for someone.
The elegant interior of the hotel attracts a vibe of a princess-ssy feeling and something that you are in a palace. The next time I’ll visit this hotel I have to wear my dress and stilettos to match this ambiance because I was wearing pants that time so I couldn’t convince myself to take a photo with this chic interior.
Carisma serves Italian cuisine and highlights old and new twists in culinary delights. My experience was a five course meal as supposed to be but I guess it is more of a menu tasting of the different dishes they serve, freshly done by Chef Andrea.
The interior itself has a solidarity with the concept of the hotel. The chic and elegance vibe is way up to this restaurant to corridors and even their bathroom. (Unfortunately I wasn’t able to bring my camera to the bathroom, I really regret it. Next time you visit take your camera with you and do all the selfies. They have a nice lighting and wide mirrors!)
The dining room is well designed by red and well upholstered sofa chairs, comfortable and the room can accommodate small quantity of customers based on the numbers of their chairs and tables. I find it perfect for a private and more intimate date nights with love ones and friends.
As we started our Ladies Night dinner together with the General Manager, Mr. Marco Saxer and Marketing,Communication & Sales Executive, Aziza Gharbi. I am delightfully thrilled to taste their menu.
Let’s get this started!
Appetizers & Soup
This set of appetizers and soup made their big entrance to our dining tables and caught our senses with their aroma specially their hot soup, Pasta E Patate. It is a vegetable broth with their fine homemade pasta and baby potato cubes. It suited my taste for a vegetable lover in me.
I had a bad experience with the smell of cured beef way back before I visited Carisma (at other restaurant), and when they presented the Bresaola Al Timo I was delighted with the smell and taste of it! It has pleases my buds with its flavor which is combined with parmesan cheese.
Pastas and Risottos
As you see, I hope – I mean, if you probably know me in person or you have been reading my blog for some quite time. You likely to happen knew that pasta and myself has a strong relationship bond. It has been intricate within my taste buds and next to our local Filipino foods is my love for Italian cuisine, I mean PASTA.
I best recommend you to try their Risotto con Gamberi (Risotto with shrimps and asparagus) and Gnocchi de Patata (Fresh potato dumplings with sea foods), you’ll definitely fall in love with this seafood style dishes. It’s classic and tasty!
It is to be honest and with great sadness that I wasn’t able to finish the whole dine experience due to my schedule. It started at 7 in the evening and at 9:30 it was not yet done. The friendly General Manager has a lot of stories about the all about and we really enjoyed his company over a sumptuous meal.
And because I had a great experience with Carisma, I really intend to blog this even if I weren’t able to finish it, but this must not hinder me. I have interviewed other bloggers and social media influencers who were present up to the end of the dinner and here are their recommendations and comments:
The Ossobuso and Stinco de Agnello are well crafted and cooked with patiently slow temperature to achieve the juicyness and tenderness of the veal and lamb. I was drooling that time when they were describing their experience with the main courses.
They have the classic Tiramisu, Italian Apple Cake and Gelato. These sweets will surely satisfy all your cravings. (No photos, they were all immediately attacked) There was no a single thing that they could complain, simply the experience is truly worth heavenly to our palate.
The best part of these is that every Saturday, all of their dishes on their menu is on 50% discount. Yes, you read that right! Over a fine dine experience you can have a budget friendly meal as well.
I was invited for this dinner but all my opinion and comments were all true and factual based on my experience.
